The Little Thompson Water District (the Owner) will receive bids for the Larimer County Road 20/West First Street Waterline Replacement Project up to the hour of 2:00 PM on Thursday July 8, 2021, and will open said bids that same day. Bids may be submitted either in printed form, by postal or hand delivery. Bids will be evaluated, and the winning bidder will be notified. Bids should be clearly marked “Bid – Larimer County Road 20/West First Street Waterline Replacement Project” and addressed to the attention of:

Plans and specifications will be available online at the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System site (Bidnet) beginning Thursday June 10, 2021. Go to https://www.bidnetdirect.com//littlethompsonwaterdistrict and choose “Login” if your company has a login established or “Register” if it is the first time you are visiting this site. Bid opportunities will be listed, in bid due date sequence, by project name and bid number.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at District offices in Berthoud, Colorado at 1:30 PM on Tuesday June 22, 2021. Participants must pre-register to attend the meeting by calling 970-532-2096. Wearing face masks are at the discretion of the participants.
Questions must be submitted online through Bidnet to the attention of Jake Hebert. Questions are due no later than 12:00 PM on Tuesday June 29, 2021. Any resulting addenda will be issued no later than 3:00 PM on Thursday July 1, 2021. Call Mr. Hebert at 970-344-6374 to verify receipt of your questions.
The contents of all bids will be kept confidential up to the time of the bid opening. Any bidder who desires confidentiality after the bid opening should notify the Owner when submitting their bid.
The Work to be performed under this Project generally includes:
1. The supply and installation of approximately 2,320 lineal feet of 8-inch PVC C900 DR 14 waterline and appurtenances along Larimer County Road 20/West First Street, to complete replacement of the existing 6-inch CIP waterline.
2. The supply and installation of approximately 265 lineal feet of 6-inch PVC C900 DR 14 waterline and appurtenances along Lona Drive, to complete replacement of the existing 2-inch PVC waterline.
3. The supply, installation, and boring of approximately 180 lineal feet of 8-inch HDPE DR 9 waterline and appurtenances along Lona Drive, to complete replacement of the existing 2-inch PVC waterline.
4. The supply and installation of approximately 175 lineal feet of 6-inch PVC C900 DR 14 waterline and appurtenances along the Access and Utility Easement located in the Overlook at Mariana subdivision, to complete the waterline connection between Two Moons Drive and West First Street.
5. The supply, installation, and boring of approximately 350 lineal feet of 6-inch fusible PVC C900 DR 14 waterline and appurtenances along Larimer County Road 20/West First Street, to complete replacement of the existing 6-inch CIP waterline.
6. The supply, installation, and boring of approximately 190 lineal feet of 2-inch Polyethylene IPS DR 9 along the north side of West First Street to connect to two existing water services and meter pits.
7. The supply and installation of new meter pits and service lines that will replace existing meter pits that are currently connected to the existing waterlines that will be replaced.
8. Proper abandonment in place of the existing 6-inch CIP waterline using flashfill.
9. All other labor, materials, supervision, traffic control, restoration and revegetation, materials testing, equipment, tools, pipe bedding material, concrete for thrust blocking, and all other additional items including permits necessary to complete the Work in substantial conformity with the Plans and Specifications.
