Conservation

As the District continues to grow, water conservation becomes more important in helping manage the valuable water resources within our District’s boundaries and throughout our state and region. Several years ago, the District developed a water conservation plan to guide us with our approach. As conservation practices become more widespread along the Front Range and throughout Colorado, the District is providing more education and continuing with free or low-cost programs to help our customers use water efficiently.

The District’s Conservation Plan provides guidance on practices within the District, with annual reporting to the State of Colorado’s Colorado Water Conservation Board. Learn more at cwcb.colorado.gov.
